Georgia Man Sues Corporations for Asbestos Exposure

A man from Georgia recently filed an asbestos lawsuit against 66 corporations claiming they wrongly exposed him to asbestos.


The man says he is now suffering from an asbestos related illness due to his exposure and feels his former employers are to blame for his deteriorating health.


Man Claims Exposure at Work


Seals Glenn, Jr. was employed as a carpenter’s apprentice, truck driver, fabricator and deck hand from 1949 to 1994 at various locations throughout Illinois and Georgia.


He claims that during his employment he was unknowingly exposed to asbestos from the products he worked with and around.


66 Corporations Named


The asbestos lawsuit names 66 corporations and claims they are to blame for Glenn’s exposure and current health problems.


Among the defendants named in the suit are:


• Bondex International
• CBS
• Ford Motor Company
• General Electric
• Pfizer


The suit is seeking $550,000 for negligence, conspiracy and wanton acts.
