A Tarrant County, Texas, jury has awarded $1.0 million for mental anguish to the widow of a career drywaller who died from mesothelioma in 2004 at the age of 63. Christine Lowery had been married to Frank Lowery for 25 years at the time of his death. The jury found Bondex International liable for Mrs. Lowery’s suffering. The case was tried in Texas under Florida law.
