New Jersey Mesothelioma Lawsuit

A man living in New Jersey recently filed a lawsuit after he developed mesothelioma and claims his illness was wrongfully caused.


The suit names 75 corporations linked to the plaintiff’s previous workplace.


Mesothelioma Victim Blames Former Companies


John Scarduzio was employed from 1949 to 200 at various companies as a materials processor and plant manager.
Scarduzio claims that during his employment he was exposed to asbestos, a hazardous material that causes illnesses like mesothelioma, which he is now living with.


Lawsuit Filed


Scarduzio claims in his suit that his exposure to asbestos during his employment was foreseeable and his employers should have taken extra precaution to ensure that safety of their employees.


Among the defendants named in the suit are, Ford Motor Company, General Electric and Honeywell.


Seeking Compensation for His Illness


Scarduzio claims the defendants failed to provide him with the proper gear so that he wouldn’t take the asbestos home on his clothing.


As a result of their negligence, Scarduzio has developed a fatal form of cancer known as mesothelioma and is now seeking compensation for the cost of his treatment.
