Todd Shipyard, San Pedro

The Todd Shipyard in San Pedro, Los Angeles was also once known as the Los Angeles Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Corporation. The Todd Corporation was a massive shipbuilding concern that had several locations, including Los Angeles and San Francisco. The San Pedro shipyard was closed in 1989 after many decades of service, and the site is now part of the Port of Los Angeles West Basin Container Terminal. Berth 100 is where the San Pedro shipyard once sat.

Building and Repairing Ships

Ships such as frigates and destroyers were built at the Todd Shipyard in San Pedro. Both commercial and military vessels were constructed.
